What is an Drupal Camp?
Drupal Camps are community sharing + training events for Drupal enthusiasts and newbies alike. Drupal Camp is an attendee-driven, completely volunteer initiative. Most of the content will be web-specific, but there will also be presentations related to more general technologies.
Why is the event a Camp?
Drupal Camp is called a “camp” to emphasize the unconference style of the event. Unconferences are more casual than most conferences and are usually organized and attended by members of a local community. The name originates from BarCamp, a popular community-driven unconference. Please do not bring your tent :)
What's the goal of Drupal Camp Chattanooga?
Our mission and purpose behind organizing a Drupal Camp is as follows:
- Learn and educate about Drupal and web development in general and other open source technologies.
- Provide networking opportunities for all.

How much does Drupal Camp Chattanooga cost?
The cost to attend is $75 ($50 earlybird) and includes access to training, sessions, and contribution day. If you would like to support our local Drupal community further, you can become an Individual Sponsor for only $100. The sponsorship includes your registration and a shout-out on our sponsor page. All proceeds will go to offset expenses and make donations to the Chattanooga Drupal User Group or Drupal Association.
How many attendees are you expecting?
This year we're expecting 50+ attendees.
Will I receive any tickets in the mail?
No, everything is handled online through Eventbrite. Show up with an ID that matches your registration.
We’ll send you a few emails leading up to the conference, but that’s it. Then when you sign in at Drupal Camp, all you need to do is provide your registration information.
Can I pay with check/cash?
We can only accept credit cards.
Is Drupal Camp Chattanooga an event friendly to newbies?
Absolutely! We have a special Beginner’s track for those who are just familiarizing themselves with Drupal.
